earth hour 2010

last two weeks of honeymooning for me..will be bombarded with assignments and mid sem exams after my Easter break.sigh...

Watched the movie blind side on Friday with a few of my secondary school friends and found it really moving. I like movies which are based on a true story.

On Saturday, went to a suburb for chicken rice that tasted 99% like the ones we can get back home and then grocery shopped for ingredients for our earth hour candlelight dinner that night. Since my friend's house is located in the city next to this busy street of restaurants, we decided to go out for a walk to get some ice cream for dessert while waiting for the dishes to cook! The street was packed with lots of ferrari supporters (F1 is here in Melb.LOL)and ferrari flags were seen hung almost everywhere. Oh yes, saw a few ferrari cars too..hahahaha

Got home bout 10 minutes before 8.30 pm and starting lighting up candles! Offed the lights and ate dinner in partial darkness.hahaha..in Malaysia last year I canot tahan and went out for a walk because its so hot in the house but I have nothing to complain about here..infact I was pretty cold! Jealous yet my fellow darlings back home in Msia?HAHAHaAH

And this morning, Dixynn and Nick picked me up and we headed down to williamstown to have fresh osyters that were just brought in from sea for breakfast. SOoooo soooo goooood and soooo soooo fresh!!! Cant wait to go back there again to buy atleast 2 kg of mussels to bring home to cook!LOL!mmmmmm..excited!!!
went to planet shakers after that for the 11 am service and am reminded to give praise to Him in good times and in bad times. Am still thankful for everything that God has done in and through my life! Wheee..
Then my roommate and I went over to this small but always packed japanese cafe for our dons and then to Chadstone for some shopping!
ended the evening with a cup of all berry bang boost juice. How satisfying.

Last wednesday I went for a one day sale at this mall named Chadstone. Was so excited to finally get my jelly strap havaianas.waheeee!!

And after all the chocolate drinks I have tasted so far, Lindt has won a place in my heart. I heart the ice dark chocolate drink.SLURP

Can't wait to watch the movie remember me and the last song!!wheee..

Two more weeks to easter break and 117 days till i go home to Malaysia! whee..

Just got a dress for my cousins wedding at the end of the year.excited I am..but wonder if i will be able to not wear it till then or find another one in between.

On friday, tried out the overseas christian fellowship at uni for the first time and it was not too bad.

yesterday,met up with dixynn, jocelyn, brenda and siew wern and had korean food at oriental spoon again.6th time having korean food since i got here lor..hahahaa..kimchi jigae = MMMMMM..surely gonna be having more as the days get colder.wheee..

Today, went to planet shakers church in the morning and then went shopping with my darling roommate, Hueilin and Emily. Its time i start to budget myself..hmm...rushed over to another mall after that to have our dinner. grilld burgers are delish and so are the fries with sweet chilli mayo sauce!!slurp..muahahaha..then we watched the movie dear john and it was real good!well atleast to me..got me all sad.
I don't know if it will be out in malaysia anytime soon but watch it as soon as it is released! Btw, i am loving the whole soundtrack.

p.s. have been eating too much! went for a jog the other day out of guilt but was dismayed because sweating seems to be impossible here. Will try to eat yoghurt and fruits for dinner for the whole of next weeek.cross fingers.LOL
