finally at Canaan

I am dedicating part of this post to my Lord and Saviour whom I love so very much.

Here's my story

From tragedy to testimony
Born to an average family, I mostly got anything I wanted as a child. Basically quite pampered by my dad and had an awesome childhood la..hahaha! In 1997, the economic downfall turned everything upside down and we lost most of our money and possesions. My dad didn't have a job. We were facing an unmovable gigantic mountain and there was nothing we could do except trust in Him and therefore put our hope in Jesus. Learning how to fully depend on Him was more than challenging because people around us felt that we were foolish and unrealistic. But we pressed on anyway and experienced so many miracles, both big and small along the way. He ensured that we had everything that we needed and at times blessed us with things we wanted. In the bible, He promised those of His people who are faithful and obedient to Him that they will lack nothing and He really keeps his promises! He made sure we had food to eat, clothes to wear, a place to stay and even a car to travel around with. We were confident in our God and knew that we were not alone.

After 14 years of being in a so called wilderness, we are now slowly but surely entering the promise land. I can proudly say that God is truly good all the time and he certainly keeps His promises and makes all things new in His time. He grants all the desires of our heart, of course within His limits and boudaries la.haha..I am forever grateful and cannot even start to thank Him enough for all that He has done for my family and I.
Nothing can actually describe the depth of my appreciation towards my Father God. I am awed by his wondrous works and amazing heart. He really makes all things possible and is always there for us! Though our problems may seem too difficult for us to handle, I know I have my God to count on to help me handle them! whee....

I believe this is the year of restoration and victory for all who are faithful and obedient to Him!Hang in there!Praise the Lord! All glory belongs to Him! Amen

All in all, what we went through was truly a humbling experience, a lesson and something that I will never forget. I'm thankful that it happened. His plans are always higher than ours and he definitely turns tragedies into testimonies if we are obedient and allow Him to work His wonders!

Ok...back to ordinary posts.hahaha

Just the other day, went to Ampang for dinner at this fish and vege farm.
The food = very tasty and reasonable
The fish was so fresh and the sos they made to go with it complemented it well. I could eat one 1kg fish all on my own lor.If only they allowed me.

Thai style dishes

Since the restaurant is near lookout point, we went over for yumcha

I never knew he liked cats and never knew cats would like him.

on the 10th went to watch Decimals perform. The dance group ECX got first placing while Decimals got 2nd placing. To me, they were both good but in a totally different category, like how could u possibly see whether a dancing group is better than a singing group?. In my opinion, they should have both won.

Nigel singing 'come home'

On sat went to BSC with my dear friends, Monica, Pek Ying, Ashley and Sing Yee for tea. Had Alexis' out of the world Tiramisu cake and an average tasting pavlova cake and ofcourse my favourite type of tea- chamomile!.
